Your existing memories are preserved even if you cancel. Your family can still listen to everything you've recorded. You just won't be able to add new memories until you resubscribe. Canceling is not the same as deleting — your voice stays safe.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you delete your account, all your memories, voice recordings, and photos will be permanently removed, and your family will lose access to your stories forever. If you just want to stop paying, cancel your subscription instead — your memories will stay preserved for your family. We recommend exporting your memories before deleting if you want to keep a personal copy.
Your memories are stored securely for the long term. We're building Keptwell to last for generations. As long as your account exists (even with a canceled subscription), your family can access your voice.
